Let's meet at the Logan Park parking lot. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. If the parking lot is full, you can park on the residential road across the street (14 Pl W) or on 13 Pl W, another residential road east of the park. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

We will ride through beautiful farmland in Snohomish County up to the Snohomish River and then along the river for a few miles to the ultimate destination of Swans Trail Farms. Swans Trail Farms is currently hosting its annual Apple & Fall Harvest Festival and they are known for their apple cider donuts. We will take a break at Swans Trail Farms so that riders can purchase donuts and other snacks and then head back to the start.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup frequently. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH, occasionally 10 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms at miles 6, 18, and 32. Donuts and other snacks will be available for purchase at Swans Trail Farms at mile 18.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.

We hope you can join us!

Comments

Hi all, looking forward to the ride on Sunday. A few notes: (1) the port-a-potty at Logan Park may not have toilet paper, so please bring your own if you plan to use the facilities; (2) if you have trouble finding parking at Logan Park, parking on 211th Pl SW east of Locust (the street immediately south of the park) is a better option than parking on 13th Pl. W., which was previously suggested.
