The Eastlake Sammamish Trail is finally 'all paved' as of October 7, 2023. Let's celebrate by riding from the East Lake Sammamish Trailhead on a 21 mile route at a leisurely pace of 10-12 MPH!

Ready your bike and join me on a ride on the paved and scenic Eastlake Sammamish Trail with views of the water as we cycle from Redmond to Issaquah. Enjoy a social 1/2 hour break at the Issaquah Coffee Company where you can purchase food and drink. The return route will be on the Eastlake Sammamish Trail. This is an out and back route.

Let's meet at the East Lake Sammamish Trailhead (Behind Whole Foods) in Redmond at 10:00 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing. We will depart as soon as that's done.

We will cycle at a leisurely pace and our goal will be to regroup frequently. Speed limits on the multi-use trail will be maintained at <15 mph.

A portable toilet is available at the start near the parking lot. Water and restroom are available at the Whole Foods. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Issaquah Coffee Company at mile 10.6.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Your bike should be in good working condition. Please bring a full water bottle and carry on your bike. Helmets are required!

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
