Join us for a ride around Lake Sammamish at a Steady pace of 12-14 MPH!

(This will also be a re-mentoring ride for Louise Johnson, who is a veteran ride leader that has taken a hiatus from ride leading and is coming back to the ranks of Cascade Bike Club ride leading!)

We will start by going southbound around Lake Sammamish, and then stop at PCC Community Market in Issaquah for a coffee break. Then we'll ride north taking both trails and roads to head towards Marymoor Park.  We will cut though Marymoor and make our way back to Idylwood Park.

If available, please use the overflow parking lot on 177th Ave NE just up from the park. On Google Maps, you’ll find it as “Idylwood Park Additional Parking”.

Please be in the Idylwood Park main parking lot, ready to ride at 9:00 AM, sharp. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb hills at our own pace and re-group at the top of hills.

Restrooms are available at the start in Idylwood Park and at PCC in Issaquah at mile 9.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the back of the group. Helmets are required.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
