Fall Colors Red Barn Loop

This is a gentle out-and-back ride in the Snoqualmie Valley. We will start in Fall City and ride the Red Barn loop through Carnation and back. Ride pace will be mostly closer to the lower end of steady.  There will be re-groups to enjoy any fall colors that might be peaking in route.  On the way back, we will stop at Starbucks for a pastry/coffee break. 

There is a Porta-potty near the start.

Directions to the start: From Seattle take I-90 to Exit 22 for Preston. Turn left at the top of the ramp, then right at the next intersection. Continue to Fall City. Bear right at the T in Fall City to cross the Snoqualmie River. Go around the traffic circle onto northbound State Route 203 toward Duvall and Monroe. Make an immediate left onto Neal Road, across from the Fall City Bistro, and into the gravel lot at Fall City Community Park.

If you want a cue sheet, please print it from the Ride With GPS file. You'll also find a route map link there.  Note: the GPS link starts actually starts a few blocks from the start of the ride, but will follow this route.

Please be ready to ride at 10:30am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader will not be at the start location.
