Join us for a ride from Log Boom Park in Kenmore on a counter-clockwise 30.7-mile loop to Redmond at a Brisk Pace of 16-18 MPH. Ride pace maybe be slower on hills and headwinds and faster on descents. We will regroup at the top and bottom of hills and stop lights. Bring a front head light and red tail light.

Ride a hilly fun fast loop with views of Lake Washington, Juanita Park, Kirkland Marina, and Sammamish River. The route is counter-clockwise starting at Log Boom Park riding towards Kirkland. We will ride stout ascents and fast descents on Juanita Drive and Holmes Point Drive. We will briefly stop at about mile 10 to take pictures and socialize at the Kirkland Marina and at about mile 21 on the Sammamish River Trail. We will utilize the wide 520 trail on our way to the Sammamish River.  The last 12 mile section of our ride is on the beautiful, but more congested Sammamish River multi-use trail which we will reduce our Brisk to adhere to the 15 MPH trail speed limit. We'll also be mindful of this 15 MPH speed limit on the Burke Gilman Trail, and 520 Trail, especially on the downhill sections.

Let's meet at the restrooms at Log Boom Park, 17415 61st Ave NE, Kenmore, WA 98028. Please park just outside of park gate along the Burke Gilman trail on NE 175th St. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

Restrooms are available at the start and at mile 10 at the Kirkland Marina and mile 21 on the Sammamish River Trail.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
