Join us for a ride from Mt Baker Beach Park on a 24 mile route at Steady (12 to 14 mph average on the flat).

Starting from Mt Baker Beach Park we will make our way up Lake Washington Boulevard through Coleman Park and via the Arboretum, keeping within the 10 mph speed limit, toward the 520 bridge.  We will cross the bridge and head to Medina Park for a restroom stop, and then through Bellevue for a coffee/lunch break at Dilettante Mocha.  After that, we will head down through Mercer Slough and back along the I90 trail across Mercer Island and the I90 bridge to Mt Baker Beach Park where we started.

Let's meet at Mt Baker Beach Park car park and please be ready to ride at 10 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together and regroup occasionally.

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 10.5.  We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Dilettante Mocha at mile 14.5.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
