Halloween Ride so wear something spooky or crazy! Bring a front head light and red tail light.

Join us for a ride from Log Boom Park in Kenmore on a clockwise 28.6 mile North Lake Washington loop route at Brisk Pace of 16-18 MPH. Ride pace maybe be slower on hills and headwinds and faster on descents. We will regroup at the top and bottom of hills and stop lights.

Ride around Lake Washington and enjoy views of the lake and UW Stadium on a fun fast ride. The route is clockwise from Log Boom towards downtown Kirkland. We will ride stout ascents and fast descents on Juanita Drive and Holmes Point Drive. We will briefly stop at about mile 10 to take pictures and socialize at the Kirkland Marina. We will utilize the wide 520 Bridge trail on our way to the UW stadium and campus.  The last section of our ride is on the more congested Burk Gilman multiuse trail which we will reduce our Brisk pace closer to be a Moderate pace to adhere to the 15 MPH multiuse trail speed limit.

Let's meet at the restrooms at Log Boom Park, 17415 61st Ave NE, Kenmore, WA 98028. Please park just outside of park gate along the Burke Gilman trail on NE 175th St. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

Restrooms are available at the start and at mile 10 at the Kirkland Marina.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
