Ride Leader Certification Class (Virtual Training Session)
KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Join our team of volunteer Ride Leaders - we'll train you to lead safe and fun rides!
Class pre-requisites:
1) Be a member of the club. (various levels of membership/ financial aid available)
2) Have participated as a rider on at least five Cascade Free Group Rides. Please note that event rides (like Seattle To Portland and Chilly Hilly) CTS (Cascade Training Series) and self paced rides do not count towards this requirement.
3) Complete the pre-class questionnaire.
Class is offered on-line. Deadline for the questionnaire is the Sunday evening prior to the class. Meeting link will ONLY be sent to qualified people registered here if we receive the completed questionnaire before then.
If this class does not fit into your schedule or if you have not yet done five free group rides, please watch the calendar for the next class. It should be posted shortly after this one - we are aiming to offer classes on a monthly basis.
