It's going to be chilly, but we can still get out to enjoy the sun! It should be a perfect day for a ride through the quiet and scenic Snoqualmie River Valley, following the classic Cascade route from Fall City to the picturesque red barn and back. We'll have a short stop at Starbucks in Carnation on the way back.

We will meet at the Fall City Community Park parking lot. Please be ready to ride at 10:00 am. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

Please note that there is a pumpkin field across the street from the Community Park, which will likely be busy. They open at 10am and have their own parking lot, but the Community Park lot may fill up too. However, if we're all there and ready to roll at 10am, we should beat the crowds!

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.

There is a porta-potty near the start and we will stop along the way for a pit toilet at Chinook Bend (mile 11). Restroom and water are available on the return leg at Carnation when we stop for coffee at Starbucks (mile 22).

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group. And dress for the weather! It may be in the high 30s when we start, possibly creeping into the 50s by the time we finish.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
