What to look for in a bike
There are a few basic qualities to look for in a bike that will serve you well for many enjoyable miles.
- Fit: The bike must suit your unique height, inseam, torso and arm length
- Frame: strong, but light
- Brakes: easy to use and strong enough to stop quickly
- Gears: enough gearing to deal with your terrain (more hills = more gears = more efficiency).
- Shifters: easy to use and responsive
