Please check out the excellent Youth Summer Camps from Bike Works and Pedalheads for this 2023 season!

Looking for a great kids summer camp? Cascade Bicycle Club offers week-long day camps loaded with biking, trail adventures, and lots of hands-on learning for ages 7-12. Our bike-based programs promote skill development, exploration, physical wellness, personal responsibility, and teamwork. The camps also emphasize care for the equipment we use, and the land on which we ride.

Under the careful guidance of our experienced counselors, campers discover the trails, parks, and urban wilds of our much-loved Puget Sound region. Join new and old camp friends while creating nature connection, learning new cycling skills, and enjoying games, arts and crafts! Activities and skills will be tailored for the specific ages of each camp session. Some of the activities offered may include basic bike maintenance skills, developing safe riding habits, and learning about pedestrian and biking infrastructure.

Designed for: 7-12 year olds

Session: Week long, Monday-Friday, 8:45am-3pm

Group learning: Campers are divided into small teams based on their cycling skill, experiences, and social needs

Cost: $325-$350 (sliding scale scholarships available)

Frequently Asked Questions

Three kids work together on fixing a bike wheel

My kids are both so empowered by this camp! Both of them feel very confident going on city rides now, and I know their confidence is well-placed, because I've ridden with them and their road savvy - safety - and manners are *excellent.* My older son in particular feels that there's just nowhere in Seattle that he can't go on his bike. It's awesome!  Rachel Scherr, 2018
